.week 7 EOC : The Pitch

The history of ancient Greece and its influence in wine itself and the development of wine regions in Europe are significant and you could say an impact on the intellectual society that was ahead of its generation.  Thucydides a Greek historian was quoted as saying "The people of the mediterranean began to imerge from barbarism when they learned to cultivate the olive and the vine.  The Ancient Greeks were true innovaters as well as pioneers of viticulture and wine production. The Ancient Greeks shared their new wine making techniques with communities now known as France,Italy and Russia. We will make a Vodka called the Olive Branch a true nectar of the Gods in the spirit of Ancient Greece and the scholars of peace and  philosophy to bring this Vodka into a new era of excellence in the human condition and knowing when an offering of an Olive Branch is a heavenly approach to peace and goodwill.  "Marketing management’s job is to build relationships with customers by creating customer value and satisfaction." A quote from the book witch would pull this sort of product into customer experience needing to be more a value and a keeping up with the joneses type of trend in the vodka. Fourth Century BC Greek writer Theophrastus  left detailed records of greek influences on viticulture and techniques for specific flavors. These facts can be used as production techniques linking the new vodka to Ancient history the civilized man of Ancient Greece.  "Marketing information by itself has little value. The value is in the customer insights gained from the information and how these insights are used to make better marketing decisions."  A quote from the book that applies here in market research to find specifically what enhances a vodka consumers experience with the product.
