.WOT Analysis

Like suppliers, marketing intermediaries form an important component of the company’s overall value delivery system. In its quest to create satisfying customer relationships, the company must do more than just optimize its own performance. It must partner effectively with marketing intermediaries to optimize the performance of the entire system.

The marketing concept states that to be successful, a company must provide greater customer value and satisfaction than its competitors do. Thus, marketers must do more than simply adapt to the needs of target consumers. They also must gain strategic advantage by positioning their offerings strongly against competitors’ offerings in the minds of consumers.

Implementation,Evaluation ,Control, Final Project

The analysis, planning, implementation, and control of sales force activities. It includes designing sales force strategy and structure and recruiting, selecting, training, supervising, compensating, and evaluating the firm’s salespeople.

Through implementation, the company turns the plans into actions. Control consists of measuring and evaluating the results of marketing activities and taking corrective action where needed.

Price, Final Project

Recent economic and technological forces have had an impact on global pricing. For example, the Internet is making global price differences more obvious. When firms sell their wares over the Internet, customers can see how much products sell for in different countries. They can even order a given product directly from the company location or dealer offering the lowest pric

Many people think commercials are a small price to pay for these benefits. Consumers find many television commercials entertaining and seek them out—for example, ad viewership during the Super Bowl usually equals or exceeds game viewership

Distribution, Final Project

Channels of distribution within countries vary greatly from nation to nation. There are large differences in the numbers and types of intermediaries serving each country market, and in the transportation infrastructure serving these intermediaries. For example, whereas large-scale retail chains dominate the U.S. scene, much retailing in other countries is done by many small, independent retailers.

A company can conduct direct exporting in several ways: It can set up a domestic export department that carries out export activities. It can set up an overseas sales branch that handles sales, distribution, and perhaps promotion.

Promotion ,Final Project

Manufacturers are now searching for ways to rise above the clutter, such as offering larger coupon values, creating more dramatic point-of-purchase displays, or delivering promotions through new interactive media, such as the Internet or cell phones. With the price of the vodka being a bit more substantial advertising will cover all media outlets .The free head dress with every bottle can be silver or golden and be proportioned to the standard or even deluxe packages that will be made for this product. The head dress will be the short term excitement  of the product while the filtering and refined vodka will be more of the long term relationship as well as the headress and bottle that people tend to keep as souvenirs. If properly designed, every sales promotion tool has the potential to build both short-term excitement and long-term consumer relationships. Event marketing is huge, and it may be the fastest-growing area of promotion, especially in tough economic times. Consumer event-marketing spending in the United States exceeded $19 billion last year, up 12 percent from a year earlier.35Event promotions will take place throughout the country at first to gain more market research but a major push in the Las Vegas area will take place at many events as Las Vegas is a world hot spot for recreation it will permeate advertising

Product Final Project

Product is a key element in the overall market offering. Marketing-mix planning begins with building an offering that brings value to target customers. This offering becomes the basis upon which the company builds profitable customer relationships. Every aspect of Olive Branch Vodka will be of the highest quality. The bottle will be a slightly stained glass if it can be manufactured at a minimal price as stained bottles tend to be of a pricy nature to manufacture. The bottle will be a curvacious and stylish form of ancient Greece and perhaps Sparta or Athens style giving the choice of three different types of bottles with the same Vodka. The Vodka itself will incorporate a means of making the alcohol in a manner born from that era and location in time . It will be filtered more times than any other Vodka claiming a superior mixture and texture to the consumer and invite one to make a logical choice for the importance of the consumers offering and goodwill of making Olive Branch their choice for the evening.Quality has a direct impact on product or service performance; thus, it is closely linked to customer value and satisfaction. In the narrowest sense, quality can be defined as “freedom from defects.”

Marketing mix Final Project

Finally, it must communicate with target customers about the offering and persuade them of its merits (promotion).Although the communication of alot of these features that have been talked about will be with the style and makeup of the package the price of the vodka will allow for commercial and radio as well as internet promos and Iphone applications. The vodka will be promoted at prestine affairs and events that can mirror its brand of quality and social stature. However, in today’s more connected world, every functional area can interact with customers, especially electronically.Promos for events can be delivered thru multi media areas and will be very much in the eye of necessity and party places in the world such as Las Vegas and and other places and events that are similar to the social events that are held here in Vegas.

Target Market Strategy Final Project

Marketing consists of actions taken to build and maintain desirable exchange relationships with target audiences involving a product, service, idea, or other object. Beyond simply attracting new customers and creating transactions, the company wants to retain customers and grow their business. One of the main reasons for the head dress of olives is so that consumer will have an item of remembrance for the occasion or just something fun and interactive with the Olive Branch Brand that will form a more rememberable experience with the brand and its particular make up of fine vodka. The target consumer is still of a young age to enjoy such a product interaction as well as be financially set enough so that price is more of a indication of quality and stature. It does this by dividing the market into segments of customers (market segmentation) and selecting which segments it will go after (target marketing).

Final Project Objectives

The company decides which customers it will serve (segmentation and targeting) and how (differentiation and positioning). It identifies the total market, then divides it into smaller segments, selects the most promising segments, and focuses on serving and satisfying the customers in these segments. The target customers for this product will be buisnessmen types and young men in college from the ages of 21to 41. The new corporate America and young men and women who consider themselves to be new blood or trendsetter types as well as being a more educated and refined set of values and social stature. The annual and long-range plans deal with the company’s current businesses and how to keep them going. In contrast, the strategic plan involves adapting the firm to take advantage of opportunities in its constantly changing environment. The ancient Greece theme has many diiferent aspects of culture that can be excepted and related to todays society and the changes that it goes thru in very little time. The overall theme can be focused on its superior technique in
olive production as well as the fashions and  social society of the times and the overall culture.
Finally, a company’s mission should not be stated as making more sales or profits—profits are only a reward for creating value for customers. Instead, the mission should focus on customers and the customer experience the company seeks to create . A great of time and care should be taken in the bottle that it has stylish curves as well as similarity to the ancient times and contain the ancient head dress of the olive branch in a stylish and wearable way by the consumer. In its advertising a connection to these qualities will be conveyed by the bottle and by the overall theme of the advertising campaign.

buisness mission

The mission statement for Olive Branch Vodka is rooted in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome with a new technique that came about in that era with the same mind set that the olive production and what it stood for in that era can be duplicated for todays Vodka drinkers to relate the experience of Epic Ancient Times that they can indulge in todays market. More broadly, market offerings also include other entities, such as persons, places, organizations, information, and ideas. For example, UNCF powerfully markets the idea that “A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Waste.” The nation’s oldest and most successful African American education assistance organization, UNCF has helped more than 350,000 minority students graduate from college.7   An Image of a Greek Goddes  and/or the gods of Ancient Greece wearing an olive branch crown on their head. The bottle is the head of Goddes or Greek God wearing an olive branch crown that can detach and be worn by the consumer.Marketers must be careful to set the right level of expectations. If they set expectations too low, they may satisfy those who buy but fail to attract enough buyer     Our mission at Olive Branch Vodka is to create an experience of a premium Vodka that the consumer feels raises the bar for a social occasion and a classy move to bring or have at their occasion. Also conveying an atmosphere of peace and goodwill towards the evening.

.week 7 EOC : The Pitch

The history of ancient Greece and its influence in wine itself and the development of wine regions in Europe are significant and you could say an impact on the intellectual society that was ahead of its generation.  Thucydides a Greek historian was quoted as saying "The people of the mediterranean began to imerge from barbarism when they learned to cultivate the olive and the vine.  The Ancient Greeks were true innovaters as well as pioneers of viticulture and wine production. The Ancient Greeks shared their new wine making techniques with communities now known as France,Italy and Russia. We will make a Vodka called the Olive Branch a true nectar of the Gods in the spirit of Ancient Greece and the scholars of peace and  philosophy to bring this Vodka into a new era of excellence in the human condition and knowing when an offering of an Olive Branch is a heavenly approach to peace and goodwill.  "Marketing management’s job is to build relationships with customers by creating customer value and satisfaction." A quote from the book witch would pull this sort of product into customer experience needing to be more a value and a keeping up with the joneses type of trend in the vodka. Fourth Century BC Greek writer Theophrastus  left detailed records of greek influences on viticulture and techniques for specific flavors. These facts can be used as production techniques linking the new vodka to Ancient history the civilized man of Ancient Greece.  "Marketing information by itself has little value. The value is in the customer insights gained from the information and how these insights are used to make better marketing decisions."  A quote from the book that applies here in market research to find specifically what enhances a vodka consumers experience with the product.

The pitch:     Olive Branch The crown of The Gods of Ancient Greece and The Vodka of todays most prestine affairs.

week 6

market segmentation: finding the specific group that you cater to like walmart would cater to lower income and fashion show mall would be more for higher income people.
target segmentation : is a group of people who share economic similarities or age, race , etc.
differentiating is when a company finds and analyzes the differences in in its target groups and position themselves to go after that certain difference in advertising. the need to segment buisness and consumer markets is cause they have different needs and desires and definetly shop different as well as watch advertising differently.Companies can gather statistical information and as well as any other geographical or region wise technique  to determine witch products and services it can offer in order to gain maximum value and variety for its consumers wether they be local or regional , buisness ,consumer or whatever catagorie best serves this company to make decisions. Companies gather infomation on its consumers in every aspect of the buyying experience so that not only can they offer good products but a good overall buying experience.Companies also tend to look a fads and whats in the popular now as well as whats good for the community and potraying an image of being a green enviromentaly concious company. companies continually do research to find the consumers needs and desires and make attempts to solve them on a one on one customer experience. There is room for a lot of different position statements that could work in a variety of companies and finding witch one works for your company so to speak is the trick.
