I recently joined a Band of musicians that are rehearsing very hard to put out an album and create value in their music and name. This reminded me of studies Ive done on groups and musicians that created a great product and customer service at there shows. Im reminded of the Beatles and how they always took time to talk to reporters and give interviews and always they were pleasant and very charming. I can also tell when performances were rehearsed to point of perfection and encores were given at shows as well as sound equipment sounding clear and concise with very little if any noise and musicians at shows were courteous and sober and very proffesional. These types of proffesionals are"strongly customer- focused and heavily committed to marketing". "Marketing more than any other buisness function deals with customers." In this way in respect to musicians the fans are the customers and the most successful of groups have had excellent relationships with their fan base and are sensitive to what the fans expect from them.Having been to many shows some stick out as being very proffesional and it coming thru in quality of venue, musicianship and sound quality. I have had recent conversations with my band as to some of the things that would constitute poor customer service in a band and its music." Some of these were poor musicianship, bad hygene and tardiness as well as not being pleasant and or proffesional to all involved. "At home,at work and were you play you see marketing in almost everything you do." Here in Las Vegas bands bring in consumers, customers, and fans to casinos and there product must be a pleasing and proffesional product to be considered for bigger and nicer venues in casinos and hotels of Las Vegas . I found that MGM casino and resort put out a very proffesional and clean venue as well as very organized and entertaining musicians who are held to a high standard by MGM entertainment . A great personal as well as entertaining experience was always felt at the MGM arena and the musicians picked to performe there.              Quotes from pg 5
